Abstract

In the article, based on the analysis of the scientific views of scientists and the norms of the current legislation, the author’s definition of higher education in Ukraine is proposed. The specifics of regulatory and legal regulation and state policy in the field of higher education in our country are disclosed. The key elements that characterize higher education as an object of administrative and legal regulation are highlighted.
