Abstract

Migration is one of the major global phenomena, in the context of the current, much more varied and cheaper transport opportunities than in the past decades, the circulation of information, social tensions, intrastate conflicts and, last but not least, in the context of the precarious economic situation. Migration has existed at all times. Social changes and the general evolution of society have made of internal and external migration one of the greatest human phenomena of the contemporary world. Movements in the form of individual and collective migration, temporary or permanent, spontaneous or forced, internal or external, have practically changed the face of the planet.
