Abstract

The article researches prosecutor’s procedural activity on exemption a person from criminal responsibility. The article emphasizes the leading role of the prosecutor in implementation the norms of the Criminal Code and the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine on the stage of pretrial investigation. It ascertains that prosecutor’s activity should be aimed at securing the rights of the participants of criminal proceedings, as well as at fulfillment of it own procedural tasks.
