Abstract

This article provides a brief excursus into the legal restrictions’ theory and gives its description as a means of providing emergency administrative legal regimes. Provided an analysis of the legal category “curfew” as a legal institution. Noted models of use of legal restrictions in the administrative practice ensuring the legal regime of martial law. Analysed the institution of curfew as a means of limitation of freedom of movement during emergency administrative legal regimes under the Ukrainian legislation. Stated wording problems of the “curfew” definition into the current legislation and provided author’s definition of this category.
