Abstract

The paper paid special attention to the urgency of improving the control and supervision activities in the police, especially in the field of human resources relations. We analyzed and summarized the theoretical and legal approaches to defining the essence of the concepts of “control” and “supervision”. The author’s definition of the concepts of control and supervision over staff procedures in the National police was proposed, their differences and peculiarities of legal regulation were characterized.
