Abstract

The article states that state control is a key tool for ensuring the safety of passenger transportation, since it is through it that the technical condition of vehicles, compliance with the norms of drivers’ working hours, the availability of appropriate licenses and compliance with licensing conditions are checked. This allows reducing the risks of road accidents and ensuring the safety of passengers. It plays an important role as a tool for influencing business entities aimed at ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, preventing violations and creating conditions for the transparent functioning of the passenger transportation market.
