Abstract

The peculiarities of the system of public administration in the sphere of the use of natural resources are determined in the article. The author of the article describes the system of taxation of activities related to the use of natural resources. The author raises the question of expediency of introduction of tax privileges of economic activity of the subjects, promoting use of the newest technologies, contributing to reduction of negative impact on the environment. Scientist determines the expediency of reviewing administrative sanctions for committing environmental violations. The author has studied the experience of organizing management in the sphere of securing secondary mineral raw materials for solving the energy needs of the countries of Western Europe. It was determined that environmental licensing is one of the forms of public administration in the sphere of the use of natural resources, the implementation of which is the basis not only of environmental funds, but also a source of financing for the activities of subjects of state and local government.
