Abstract

The article highlights the modernized existing civil legislation governing the mortgage and mortgage. The relevance of the topic is explained by the fact that the Law of the Republic of Moldova No. 133 dated November 15, 2018 (entered into force on 03/03/2019) “On the modernization of the Civil Code and amending certain legislative acts” canceled the law of the Republic of Moldova “On pledge” No. 449-XV on July 30, 2001 and the Law of the Republic of Moldova “On Mortgage” No. 142-XVI of June 26, 2008, which until March 1, 2019 regulated pledge and mortgage.
