Abstract

The article deals with special-criminological measures for the prevention of violence in penitentiary institutions. It is noted that in order to prevent violence in penitentiary institutions, all forces and means available in these institutions are involved. It is proved that using operational staff; heads of social-psychological department; psychologists; regular changes in the supervisory and security department, and the department for the protection of special and criminological measures will reduce the number of violence in penitentiary institutions.
