Abstract

The article deals with the concepts, grounds and legal consequences of the use of juvenile coercive measures of educational nature in the form of referral to a special educational institution. The author makes comparative analysis of the punishment in the form of arrest and imprisonment with such a type of exemption from punishment as a referral to a special educational institution.
