ТЕРРОРИЗМ КАК ОДИН ИЗ САМЫХ ОПАСНЫХ ВИДОВ ПРЕСТУПЛЕНИЙ

Abstract

The article shows that terrorism manifests itself in using or threatening to use violence to achieve political, economic, religious or ideological goals. Terrorism is generally dangerous acts or their threat, committed publicly and impinges on public security, creating fear, panic, anxiety, oppression in the society with the aim of directly or indirectly influencing the adoption or refusal of decisions in the interests of persons committing an act of terrorism, or having ordered its commission. Terror, as a dangerous crime, is characterized by violent acts against certain categories of the population, like explosions, fires, sabotage and other socially dangerous acts on the international scale, like organized criminal activity aimed at intimidating authorities and the population, as organization, fi nancing, support and the creation of terrorist groups. Counteraction to terrorism requires the appropriate organizational and legal activities of government bodies, international cooperation, timely elimination of the causes and conditions for the commission of terrorist acts.
