Abstract

The article discloses content and structure of the modern legal activity and the legal profession by the example of the USA, the UK and Germany. Also were disclosed the historical stages of development, defined the concept of ««legal profession», ««lawyer», ««juridification of society», analyzes factors increase the social prestige of the legal profession, especially its manifestations in different countries.
