Abstract

The contemporary meaning of legality as a fundamental principle of the rule of law. Article includes a detailed study on the concept and phenomenon of legality, with the aim to outline the contemporary meaning of legality as a fundamental principle of the rule of law and to argue the need for its reconceptualization in conditions of democratization of society, as indispensable requirement to complete the process of building and strengthening the rule of law in Moldova.
