ОЦІНКА РЕЗУЛЬТАТІВ ВПРОВАДЖЕННЯ МЕХАНІЗМІВ ЗАБЕЗПЕЧЕННЯ ГЕНДЕРНОЇ РІВНОСТІ У СЕКТОРІ БЕЗПЕКИ І ОБОРОНИ В НАЦІОНАЛЬНЕ ЗАКОНОДАВСТВО УКРАЇНИ

Abstract

Implementing gender equality in the security and defense sector is important for combining different approaches to problem solving in missions and operations, will ensure operational effi ciency, the exchange of experience, knowledge, ability, attainments between women and men, helping to raise the level of education among the population in matters relating to such an important sphere for the the state’s defense capability, protection of sovereignty and territorial integrity, inviolability, maintenance of international security and stability. To ensure the achievement of gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls in the security and defense sector, not only the state functions as a separate, single, separate political-territorial organization, but also international organizations. In addition, the international community is interested in recommending the implementation of best international practices, monitoring compliance with and implementing its policies in their member countries, in order to contribute to the sustainable development of the world as a whole. The main task of the state policy, which is reflected in the National uction рЕт envisaged for the period up to 2020 in Ukraine, is to ensure effective monitoring of compliance with the legislation by relevant state authorities in the security and defense sector, as well as cooperation with international organizations such as the United Nations, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, UN Women etc., on the issues of achieving gender equality and empower all women and girls.
