Abstract

The article, based on the analysis of scientific views of scientists and the norms of the current legislation of Ukraine, defines and characterizes the concept of the subject of control over the activities of forensic institutions. The list of public authorities that make up the system of subjects of control over the activities of forensic institutions is given. The key features of the administrative and legal status of the latter are highlighted, as well as their classifi cation.
