Abstract

The article deals with the main measures to improve the system of ensuring public security and order in the Kharkiv region, prevention of offenses, coordination in this area of action of state executive authorities, local authorities, territorial law enforcement and controlling bodies, public institutions and the population in order to protect constitutional rights and the freedoms of citizens, children, other vulnerable groups of the population, reducing the pressure of the criminal environment on citizens, preventing the aggravation of a criminalized sieve in the region, enhancement of the infrastructure’s security in the region, information and education measures among the population of the region, increase of its legal consciousness and encouragement to take part in public safety and order measures, creation of conditions for productive and effective development of economic, industrial, cultural, scientific-technical potential of the Kharkiv region.
