This article is devoted to the actual problem - the creation of dangerous knowledge by mankind, the consequence of which is undoubtedly the self-destruction of the human kind. Dangerous knowledge is a scientific curiosity based on the concept or philosophy of anthropocentrism that dominates the last thousand years. The emphasis in this philosophy is placed on human as the center of everything, and everything is created and is happening in the interests of human. It is obvious that such a philosophy has brought mankind to the brink of the abyss, as evidenced by many global catastrophes, which have become more frequent recently. The international community sees the way out of the current situation in changing the concept of the worldview from anthropocentrism to ecocentrism. Th e embodiment of the latter is global bioethics - a comprehensive knowledge of the principles of coexistence of ecosystem elements. In the fi eld of law, bioethics can be identifi ed with natural law, but in its updated version - concrete, formally expressed. It is by applying the principles of bioethics in all spheres of life (including in lawmaking) that there is still a chance for humanity to shift the point of no return. The article considers several examples of the use of bioethical principles in the context of already open dangerous knowledge (nanotechnology, an experiment on the human genome).
