Abstract

The genesis of the principles of carrying out public control over the activities of public authorities has been studied in the article. The author has analyzed and distinguished generally legal, intersectoral, sectoral and institutional principles of public control over the activities of the National Police. Based on the analysis of international regulatory legal acts the author has singled out international principles of public control over the activities of the National Police. The system of principles for carrying out public control over the activities of the National Police has been formed.
