Abstract

In the article, on the basis of the analysis of scientifi c views of scientists, a description of the legislation, which defines the legal framework for the organization of the activity of scientific-research expert-forensic institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, is given. It is stressed that the state of legal regulation of the organization of activity of scientific-research expert-forensic institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine can be estimated ambiguously. The article outlines the positive and negative aspects of the legislation, which defi nes the legal basis for the activities of the said institutions.
