ПОНЯТТЯ ІНФОРМАЦІЙНО-ПРАВОВОГО ЗАБЕЗПЕЧЕННЯ ДІЯЛЬНОСТІ ОРГАНІВ ПРОКУРАТУРИ УКРАЇНИ В КОНТЕКСТІ СУЧАСНОГО ПРАВОРОЗУМІННЯ

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of basic concepts of information and legal support of the activity of the Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine in the context of the current legal understanding of this activity. The work is based on the ideas, workings of domestic researchers of information support of the prosecution bodies and the analysis of the relevant norms of the current legislation. In the course of the research, the author focuses on the definitions of "information" in general and "information of prosecuting authorities" in particular. Approaches to the distribution of information by criterion of type and access are analyzed. The information provided by the Prosecutor’s Office is intended to understand the totality of knowledge about phenomena, events, processes of real or imagined reality, which can be stored on material media or displayed electronically, may be open, or have limited access. According to the criterion of normatively and content, the information of the prosecution bodies can be divided into: legal, statistical, sociological, information about an individual, if that person is an employee of the prosecution bodies of Ukraine, as well as other types of information. Special attention is paid to the analysis of approaches in the domestic legal science approaches to the understanding of information and informational-legal support of the activity of the bodies of the prosecutor’s offi ce. Attention is drawn to the differences between the approaches of the researchers to the information support of the activity of the prosecution bodies, in particular in the context of the distribution of information on the internal and external. The author propose the author’s definition of information and legal support of the activity of the Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine as a complex of legal measures aimed at regulating the work with the data set, information in all its forms on any material media, in the process of its collection, processing, storage, exchange and other effective use for the intended purpose.
