Abstract

The article, based on an analysis of the scientific views of scientists, the norms of the current legislation of Ukraine and the practical activities of individual legal departments, provides a general description of the administrative-legal status of legal departments. It is noted that the administrative-legal status of a subject is a set of legal parameters that determine its place in the system of administrative-legal relations and distinguish it from other entities in the field of public administration. It is substantiated that the legal departments today occupy a special place in the system of authorities, which speaks of their specific administrative status.
