Abstract

The scientific article is devoted to research of forensic and expert activity. The content and characteristics of the forensic-expert activities were identified and analyzed. The contemporary state of normative-legal ensuring of forensic and expert activity in Ukraine is reveal. Exact determination of the content and specific features of forensic and expert activity is necessary to establish a unified system of terms in this area of legal regulation. The contemporary scientific approaches to understanding of the forensic and expert activity are considered. The content and interrelation of the notions «forensic and expert activity», «expert activity», «forensic and expert ensuring» are analyzed. The contemporary state of normative-legal ensuring of forensic and expert activity in Ukraine is considered. Through the analysis of normative-legal acts and bills that regulate of activities of forensic experts and forensic-expert institutions in Ukraine, the specific features of expert activity were identified, their content was characterized. In the context of systemic judicial reform, effective regulation of forensic and expert activity, to determine its legal, organizational, managerial and scientifi cally-methodological foundations, it is necessary to ensure legislative consolidation of a unified conceptual apparatus, which is used in forensic and expert activity.
