Abstract

This article addresses the issues related to the administrative and legal framework of the National Police personnel of Ukraine, as well as their main features. Through the analysis of scientific views, the author defines the terms “administrative and legal basis” and “personnel support” (in the context of the activities of the National Police). It is established that, given the specific status of the units of the National Police of Ukraine, the implementation of certain activities in the field of human resources for their staff have their own peculiar features. Specific suggestions were made regarding the improvement of certain procedures for introducing and implementing timely staff transfers, and particular emphasis was placed on the modern administrative and legal support of the professional activity of police officers. It was also proposed to amend the profile legislation in order to improve the quality level of effective activity of the internal system units that are part of the National Police of Ukraine.
