Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the works of prominent war researchers in the context of its information component. The author traces the development of military thought about information security from the works of Sun-Tzu and the ideas of PylypOrlyk, from the ideas of Alexander Suvorov and Napoleon Bonaparte, Carl von Klausevitz concept, to the ideas of Liddell Garth and Robert Gates, highlighting those ideas that remain relevant today. As a result, the role of information law and information security in modern military conflicts was described.
