Abstract

In the article, on the basis of the analysis of scientific views of scientists and the norms of the current legislation of Ukraine, the description of the powers of the subjects of control and supervision in the field of urban development is given. The key subjects of control and supervision in the field of urban development are identified. It is stated that today the State Architectural and Construction Inspection of Ukraine is the key subject of supervision and control in the field of urban development, which is confirmed by the whole complex of powers, which is given by the said body of state power in accordance with the current legislation. At the same time, it was noted that the State Architectural Inspection for the fulfillment of the tasks entrusted to it may involve other entities.
