Abstract

The article examines the main approaches to the definition of information society, global information society. Informed their characteristic properties, factors of formation and development in the modern era. Highlights of business warehouse, the major threats and prospects for their solution and countermeasures. For the purpose of extensive disclosure of the nature and content of the global information society, we offer the use of a comprehensive interdisciplinary approach, on the basis of which it is worth considering this phenomenon through the prism of all the relations that arise in the information sphere, cover the processes associated with obtaining, storage, dissemination of information, information and communication technology and the cooperation of States, international organizations and the public in the information sphere with the aim of preventing and combating national and global threats. Interaction is important for countries consolidated sustainable and balanced global information society, international peace and security. It was therefore proposed to provide Internet access to the status of an object of General heritage of humanity, which is available to all and sundry without any discrimination under condition of observance of the norms and principles of its functioning. This requires a further recognition by States and approval of international treaties. In particular, both at the national and at the international legal level of legal regulation of important is providing information security development and equal access to information and communication technologies, the prevention of information competition, information wars, etc.
