ОРГАНІЗОВАНА ЗЛОЧИННІСТЬ: СТАН ТА ТЕНДЕНЦІЇ

The article describes the current state of organized crime in Ukraine. The main modern factors determining new forms of this crime are identified. Statistical indicators characterizing organized crime are analyzed. Modern organized crime is characterized by the commission of professional crimes, which are carefully masked and have a high level of latency. New forms are emerging, transnational organized crime is becoming increasingly large, new factors of its determination are appearing. The author analyzed the influence of modern factors on the trend of organized crime. Further deterioration of the socio-economic situation may be due to the continuation of hostilities in the east of Ukraine and low domestic and external demand for goods, services of domestic business entities, increase of tariffs for housing and communal services, electricity. Among the key factors that will affect the state of the economy in the state, one can distinguish the following: military actions in the east of Ukraine and the breakdown of interregional ties as a result of the loss of control over the Crimea, separate territories of Donetsk, Lugansk regions; low domestic, external demand as a result of the financial and economic crisis; complicated trade relations with the countries of the Middle East as a result of hostilities in Syria; reducing the purchasing power of the population as a result of reducing its real incomes; worsening fi nancial results of enterprises, curtailing credit activity, reducing public funding and high unemployment; the complication of access of Ukrainian goods to the markets of China, the Middle East, CIS countries; decrease of world prices for export goods from Ukraine; low level of judicial protection of private property, foreign direct investment.
