Abstract

The article, based on the analysis of scientific views of scientists reveals general theoretical approaches to the interpretation of the concept and features of control activities. The characteristic of control as a way to ensure legality in the activities of higher education institutions is given. The main features of such control are analyzed and the existence of an extensive system and forms of its practical implementation are emphasized.
